How sources are weighed
Not all evidence carries equal weight. Regulatory assessments that have undergone peer and public review, such as ECHA opinions, EPA IRIS assessments, and IARC monographs, are given precedence over individual studies. Where a single study conflicts with an authoritative assessment, we say so and explain how the conflict affects our confidence.
Our commitment
We reference every source with its date of access, disclose conflicting findings, and never present an unsupported claim as fact. ChemVigil doesn't perform laboratory testing. Our conclusions rest entirely on the established published and licensed evidence base.
