Do you conduct laboratory testing?
No. ChemVigil is an analytical firm. We evaluate existing published and licensed data, and where that data is insufficient, we identify precisely where new testing would add value.
How reliable is analysis based on existing data?
Evaluating existing studies is the foundation of most regulatory hazard assessments, including those conducted by ECHA and the US EPA. Reliability depends on comprehensive coverage and transparent reasoning, the two principles at the core of our methodology.
How do we get started, and what do you need from us?
Send us the substance name or CAS number, the question you need answered, the markets involved, and your deadline, using the contact form or by email. We respond within one business day with a proposed scope, a fixed fee, and a committed delivery date. Work begins as soon as you approve the proposal and, where required, the NDA is in place.
How is pricing structured?
Each engagement is quoted as a fixed fee for a defined scope and deliverable, agreed before work begins, so there are no hourly surprises. Watch-list monitoring is offered as a subscription. Expedited delivery is available on request and priced into the proposal.
Which jurisdictions do you cover?
Our standard regulatory status reports cover the European Union (REACH, CLP, SVHC), the United States (TSCA, California Proposition 65), and India, with Canada, Australia, Japan, Korea, and China available as standard additions. Other jurisdictions can be scoped on request.
What if my chemical has limited published data?
We evaluate data on scientifically justified structural analogues and state clearly the level of confidence the evidence supports. We never overstate what the evidence can bear.
Can your reports support regulatory submissions?
Our reports are designed to inform compliance decisions and documentation. Formal submissions may require sign-off by a qualified expert in the relevant jurisdiction, and we'll advise you on exactly what is required.
In what format are reports delivered?
Reports are delivered as PDF documents with an executive summary, endpoint-by-endpoint findings, and a complete source register. Status matrices and source registers can also be provided as spreadsheets on request. Every delivery includes a briefing call to walk through the findings.
Do you work with clients outside India?
Yes. All engagements are delivered remotely and in English, and we regularly work with clients in Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific. Briefings are scheduled to suit your time zone.
How do you protect confidentiality?
We sign NDAs as standard, handle client data securely, and never disclose client identities or product details.
